The Events of the 61st Edition of the Festival dei Popoli

Festival dei Popoli accepted the challenge of 2020 by presenting its 61st edition in digital form in the virtual space of PIUcompagnia, the platform created in collaboration with MYmovies.it.  With this edition we have expanded our idea of community, sharing our passion for documentary cinema with all of you who can follow us from your homes throughout Italy. The number of subscriptions sold to date confirms your support and enthusiasm and we thank you for this!

The Festival dei Popoli has always aimed to be a meeting place, for this reason we thought to create different spaces in which to dialogue with authors, staff and spectators.

In addition to the calendar of meetings with the filmmakers, available exclusively for those who have made or are about to make the online subscription, which with short introductory videos prepare the spectators to watch the film, we enrich our offer with the column “Conversations with the Filmmakers”, available on our Youtube, a series of insights with the festival guests, led by the artistic director and the selection committee.

Our staff takes care of the “Advice from the staff”, section, available on our Instagram, a virtual and alternative space where you can find our advice on must-see movies.

Our compilation on Spotify offers musical proposals inspired by the documentaries of the section “Let the Music Play” and not only, an opportunity not to be missed to make you dance… even in your living rooms.

#Lifewithdifferenteyes is our invitation to continue to explore the world, observing it from different perspectives, so we wish you a good continuation of the Festival and a good vision!
