One morning, a group of curious children discover a mysterious box abandoned in the street, from which strange sounds echo... In the darkness of the following night, the circus makes its entrance into the village accompanied by the rolling of drums and strange whispers. Surprisingly, the tiger's cage plummets from the circus carriage and is found the next morning by the villagers who call for help. It takes quite a prank to teach a lesson to those who think they train animals with a whip. (c.d.)

Jānis Cimmermanis
Janis Cimmermanis is a Latvian director and animator. He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography in 1980 and began working as a director for puppet plays at the Latvian Puppet Theater. In 1983, he joined Latvia Film Studio as a puppet film animator and director.
