JOVANNAFORFUTURE

Netherlands | 2019 | 16 min

Recommended age 14+

Jovanna van den Berg is a 13-year-old Dutch girl fighting for a better future, following the example of Greta Thunberg. Her family has made activism a daily life practice: their house is made of wood and uses solar energy; plastic is never purchased; and they have no refrigerator. The story of Jovanna and her daily actions for a sustainable lifestyle is mixed with images of young people from around the world who share her vision and show us the consequences of climate change in their countries.
