Itineranze DOC is a unique initiative born from the collaboration of some of the most important Italian festivals in the field, including Festival dei Popoli.

The project, born from an idea of Luciano Barisone (artistic director of Festival dei Popoli from 2008 to 2010 and member of the international jury of the 62nd edition of the Festival), proposes a six-month training and educational path, dedicated to Cinema of reality projects in development with intensive workshops and numerous networking opportunities with producers, distributors and broadcasters.

It is a wide-ranging project to accompany participants along the main stages of approaching the realization of their work: from writing to pitch preparation, from the clarification of artistic choices to the search for producers and funding sources.

The journey will culminate with the presentation of the participating projects to industry insiders during a special event at the Festival dei Popoli.

THE SIX STAGES OF ITINERANZE DOC:

The six intensive workshops (each lasting four days) will take place during the days of the organizing festivals. During each event, dedicated to specific aspects of film development, lectures, master classes and meetings with lecturers and experts of international profile will be held.

WHOW SHOULD ATTEND?

ItineranzeDoc is aimed at Italian filmmakers or that resident in Italy, with no age limit, who have already made at least one short film and who have a feature film project in development (with or without a producer), traceable to the "cinema of reality" and characterized by an authorial approach.
